Has it been raining enough for you lately? It hasn't always been that way in Ottawa County! Much like the rest of the country, Ottawa County was hit hard by the Dust Bowl in the Great Depression. Dr. Matthew Daley, historian at GVSU, will be giving a free presentation on Tuesday, April 25th at 7 PM on how Michiganders preserved their soil during the devastating seven years that could have wiped out the region. This program is being cosponsored by the Howard Miller Public Library and the Zeeland Historical Society!
