In Their Own Words with Larry Martin
Thursday, November 4, 2021
The Zeeland Historical Society, Howard Miller Public Library and the Genealogy Study Group have partnered once again to bring history alive. On Thursday, November 4, at the Howard Miller Library and Community Center, Larry Martin will be sharing his experiences in capturing the stories of World War II veterans. This program is free to the public and features the story of Fred Bahlau, a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne. While Fred is no longer with us, participants can learn more about his experience and honor him along with all the other men and women who have courageously served in the armed forces.
The WWII mini-exhibit will be available starting at 5:30 pm with the film featuring Fred Bahlau starting at 6:00 pm. After the screening, Larry Martin will be on-hand for a question and answer session.
