The Lester Hoogland Banquet Room

Elegant, spacious, and versatile for up to 145 guests

Spacious, versatile, and filled with natural light, the Lester Hoogland Banquet Room is HMCC’s premier venue for large gatherings. Located on the main floor with convenient visibility and access, this elegant yet practical space is ideal for wedding receptions, seminars, family banquets, corporate meetings, and other special events.

The room has a flexible layout and generous size making it easy to customize for your needs. For smaller groups, the Banquet Room can be divided into Front Half and Back Half sections using a sound-dampening partition wall, allowing two events at once or a more comfortable setting for intimate gatherings. Each section includes its own access, lighting, and A/V capabilities.

Excessive mess or damage may incur a cleaning/damage fee of $50/hour.

East Activity Room

Located in the lower level of the Community Center, the East Activity Room is best for smaller meetings. Its permanent features include kitchenette with a small sink, microwave and coffee maker. There is a ceiling-mounted video projector, a projection screen and tack strips along the wall. Room capacity varies up to 74, depending on the configuration of chairs and tables. (1,100 square feet) 17’ x 51’.
