Elm Street Park

Located in the heart of downtown, this park offers year-round fun for all ages. Open daily, the park features benches and tables perfect for relaxing or gathering with friends, along with outdoor games that add a playful touch to your visit. In the winter months, a seasonal synthetic skating rink takes center stage.

Elm Street Park is within the Zeeland Social District. As part of the Social District, visitors can purchase beverages from participating downtown establishments and enjoy them responsibly while spending time in the park.

Hoogland

Hoogland Park is located near the cemetery at the corner of Rich and Peck Streets. It has a small shelter, restrooms and a play area.

Huizenga

Huizenga Park is a beautiful community park just south of Business I-196. It’s 14.7 acres features a skate park, four picnic shelters, three football fields, a sand volleyball court, two softball fields, pickleball courts, a fully accessible restroom, walking trails, and lots of paved parking. It also has a large playground (replaced the former Timber Towns structure in 2018) and a fishing pond, and is a great place for kids to play, host a party, and more.

Lawrence Street

Lawrence Street Park has restrooms and an inside pavilion that can be rented for parties, reunions, etc. It also has a play area, tennis courts and a small ball field. Near the rear of the grounds there is a music shelter known as the “bowl.” During the summer the bowl is host to a summer concert series and is also available for rent for music shows, worship services and the occasional wedding.

Michigan Street Tot Lot

Michigan Street Tot Lot is located on Michigan Street on the north side of town. It has a picnic shelter and a play area.

North Side Pathway

Paw Paw Foot Bridge

The Paw Paw Foot Bridge is located at the west city limits. It has a winding bike path and a foot bridge that spans the Black River. There is a picnic shelter on site for quiet afternoon lunches.

Splash Pad

The City of Zeeland Splash Pad Park is a barrier-free play area that includes water features for both toddlers and children. Also included are onsite restrooms, shaded seating and dining area, and a raised observation desk to observe all the splash pad excitement while staying dry.
The splash pad is fenced in.

Vande Luyster Square

This park is located at the intersection of Central and Church Streets. There is a historical monument representing some of Zeeland’s first settlers, a wishing fountain and a gazebo that is available for rent. There are park benches so users can sit and enjoy the relaxing environment. This park is often used for photo opportunities for weddings and formal occasions.
