Social District Rules
Stay within the Social District boundaries identified on the map.
The social district map has two categories – the red area indicates the regular social district boundaries: Mon-Sat, 8am-11pm.
The pink area will be used during designated special events only.
The special events that expand into the pink boundaries include:

- The Show & Shine Car Show and Cruise
- The Zeeland Criterium
- Parades
Alcohol in the Splash Pad is explicitly off-limits unless otherwise posted.
Alcoholic beverages must only be sold to and consumed by adults 21+.
Alcoholic beverages consumed within the Social District must be purchased from a Social District license holder. Currently: Tripelroot, Frank’s East, La Creme & StrEATs Taco Kitchen.
Alcoholic beverages consumed within the Social District must be in a designated Social District cup, provided by the license holder at time of purchase.
Bringing your own alcohol into the Social District is not permitted.
Leaving the Social District with an alcoholic beverage is not permitted.
Please pick up after yourself.

All other State of Michigan and City of Zeeland laws apply. Including, but not limited to those prohibiting public intoxication, impaired driving, open containers and serving alcohol to minors.

Adults 21+ can sip on alcoholic beverages purchased from licensed establishments while exploring the streets and public seating from Monday through Saturday. The participating spots offer drinks in designated Social District cups, allowing patrons to enjoy a beverage while strolling Main Avenue or relaxing in Elm Street Park, giving locals and visitors a fun, relaxed way to enjoy Zeeland’s charming downtown.
