  • Mead Johnson has submitted a rezoning application for the properties at 605 & 633 E. Main Avenue.
  • A conceptual presentation was shared by Mead Johnson on June 5 at 5:45 PM at the Howard Miller Community Center.
  • A public hearing on the rezoning request was held on June 12 at 6:00 PM, also at the Howard Miller Community Center. The request was tabled and another meeting was scheduled:
  • Planning Commission Special Meeting Wednesday, June 25 at 6:00 PM at the Howard Miller Community Center, to continue the discussion on the request to rezone 605 & 633 E. Main. (This is not a public hearing. Public comment will be received at the beginning of the meeting.)
  • No site development plans have been submitted to the City at this time.
  • Planning Commission Regular Meeting Thursday, July 10, 2025 at 5:45 PM at City on a Hill, Planning Commission approved 2nd reading (final) of Resolutions to rezone 605 & 633 E. Main.
  • City Council Regular Meeting on Monday, July 21, 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Howard Miller Library/Community Center to consider Ordinances to approve rezoning 605 & 633 E. Main. These actions were approved.
  • Mead Johnson has submitted a rezoning application for 515, 549 and 553 E. Main.  A special meeting of the Planning Commission is scheduled for Monday, August 25, 2025 at 6PM at the Howard Miller Community Center.
  • The City of Zeeland has cancelled the 8/25/25 meeting due to notice issues. A public hearing to consider the request for a temporary parking lot at the Mead Johnson site will be held at the 9/4/25 regular Planning Commission meeting. Rezoning requests for 515, 549 and 553 E. Main will be scheduled at a later date.
  • The Planning Commission approved the request by Mead Johnson to build a temporary parking lot at their 9/4/25 regular meeting .
  • Planning Commission will consider rezoning requests for 515, 549, and 553 E. Main at a public hearing on 9/23/25 at 6pm, located at City Hall, 2nd floor, 21 S. Elm Street
